The FA failed in a last ditch bid to get the FIFA Presidential Elections delayed in Zurich last night. The decision of the FA to try and get it stopped brought a tirade response from the Argentinean Association who accused our nation and its media of telling lies.

In the papers this morning there have been a mixed bag of stories that includes West Ham confirms Allardyce as boss; Michael Owen signs a new deal at Old Trafford, while Guus Hiddink opens the door for a Chelsea return.
